Le 11 mars 2023, la conférence "La mer" a eu lieu au Royal Yacht Club de Cork, en Irlande, organisée par Irish Sailing, avec la collaboration de Union Chandlery, Marine and Yacht Supplies, Cruising Association of Ireland et Kilrush Marina.
La conférence a traité de sujets tels que les voyages, la sécurité en mer, la navigation en haute mer, les orques... Mónica González, biologiste CEMMA/GTOA, a participé à cette activité, parlant de la biologie, du comportement des orques et, surtout, les interactions qu'ils ont produites depuis 2020.
